El Catálogo de Arquitectura del Movimiento Moderno del Perú (CAMMP) es el resultado de la investigación del mismo nombre que, con el auspicio del Instituto deInvestigación Científica de la Universidad de Lima, desarrollamos entre los años 2013 y 2015. Se trata de la primera iniciativa que se propuso inventariar y documentar los edificios más importantes de la producción nacional comprendida en el período moderno. Así, recopila y sistematiza información y documentos de arquitectura originales planos, descripciones, fotografías, perspectivas encontrados en diversas publicaciones de la época y en archivos de los propios autores. No obstante la cantidad de documentación recogida, consideramos que el trabajo no ha concluido, pues se seguirá enriqueciendo a medida que recibamos información y accedamos a otros archivos de arquitectura.  El libro del Catálogo recoge sesenta de las obras más representativas; sin embargo, con la intención de que este acervo de la arquitectura moderna se difunda entre un público más amplio, se idearon otros tres productos complementarios: un catálogo web de búsqueda interactiva que se puede consultar en el enlace www.cammp.ulima.edu.pe, un aplicativo para dispositivos móviles y las fichas arquitectónicas para el reconocimiento del patrimonio moderno. Desde hoy, el catálogo queda abierto a la comunidad para que, con sus aportes, alcance el fin más esperado: la protección de la obra del Movimiento Moderno del Perú.

Series dedicated to the works, projects and architectural essays produced by the docents of the PUCP. This third issue is deditated to the The Machupicchu Visitor Center, a project developed between 2014 and 2016 by the LLONAZAMORA architecture office. Its development involved constant reflection on various topics relevant to contemporary architecture in the country, such as the way in which an architectural project can be related to an archaeological site in a formal, material or spatial way, even more so with one as imposing as Machupicchu; or the way of understanding this Visitor Center not only as a tourist space, but as the focus of a community dedicated to the investigation and conservation of the Llaqta. In addition, the task of conceiving an adequate intervention in the landscape that is a contemporary intervention in which the nature of the place and its pre-existences are recognized was faced. "The development of the Visitor Center project was suspended due to disagreements between the Decentralized Directorate of Culture of Cusco (DDC) and the government of Machupicchu Pueblo. They could not reach an agreement on the integral management project of the park and the Llaqta, which included, among other things, the construction of the Visitor Center. As a result of this divergence and despite the fact that the architecture and engineering project was delivered at a complete feasibility level, the DDC Cusco stopped the last approval. This led to a long conciliation process, in which, at our request, LLONAZAMORA ceded the authorship to the DDC Cusco to do so under his responsibility.
